Initiated into the world of photography through a prominent Colombian fashion campaign, his 15-year journey boasts collaborations with icons like Nelly Furtado, Gigi Hadid, and brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Shiseido and Sacks Fifth Avenue. Drawing inspiration from cinematic greats and classic portraiture, Matallana masterfully blends his Colombian heritage with global perspectives. Each project is a fresh universe, echoing his signature aesthetic and the story he envisions.. Today, Matallana resides in New York and his photography takes him to locations all over the world.
